Gretchen Ronnevik

Solveig – 1 month

family

Sorry… 1 month and 2 days.

She’s awake more now.  Though not much.

Last night, we were “playing” and I honestly think she was trying with her whole body to smile at me.

She prefers to spend most of her day in the Moby with her crazy haired mama.
I brought out the Mai Tai today to change it up a bit.  So far, so good.

Most of the time, she’s just a little doll.

Though, let’s be honest.  She knows what she wants.  And what she doesn’t want.  She doesn’t want to be wet or dirty but she doesn’t like getting changed.  Diaper changes she’s starting to endure, but heaven help the person wanting to change her clothes.  She wants to be held, or just touching either Mommy or Daddy all the time.  She’s starting to get old enough that I’m starting to wean her off of sleeping in the wrap and start taking naps in the pack n play in the living room.  She is not amused with this transition.

How cute! Glad I’m not the only one with issues getting my child to sleep somewhere other than in my arms…or mai tai, as the case may be. It doesn’t help that he co-sleeps with me at night (not entirely by choice). Sometimes I feel like he’s as attached to me as when I was pregnant!
