Not Me Monday!

Not Me Monday

I forgot that today was the “not me monday” party again at MckMama’s site so go ahead and click on the link to her site to view hundreds of other “not me” stories from around the globe. This day of confession is bringing the world together.

I did not let Lena just lick up the spit up that splattered from Elias’ mouth onto the floor. I did not think “Ah well, one less thing to clean up.” That’s curdled breastmilk, and that’s just gross for a dog to lick up. Ew!

I did not serve my kids leftover peanut butter and jelly for lunch…(that’s right, the pb&j that they didn’t eat yesterday) and when they asked for more, I did not say it would take a minute and they could go play while they wait, and just forgot to make them anymore. Nope, not me!

I didn’t let my children make a huge mess in the yard, as they tried to drag everything from our storage space out so they could have a play “garage sale.” I didn’t think, “Hmm, well, as long as it’s keeping them busy” and go about my business. Nope, my kids are always orderly.

And I didn’t think of locking up our babysitter from last night, and keeping her to live with us forever because my children adore her and she painted Silje’s nails, took the kids/dog for a walk, took them on wagon rides, played baseball with them while we were gone last night. Knut and I would never plot something like that. We recognize that her parents may want her back.

Enjoyed your post! Thinking I may have to come kidnap your babysitter and lock her in our closet…she sounds wonderful!
