Yarn Along

Uncategorized

I’ve picked up the fingerless gloves that I was working on awhile back.  I’ve redone this particular glove a few different time, because the charts I write down look different in real life than what I think it will.  I’ve fixed it yet again, and by George, I think I’ve got it.  I hope.

Please don’t bring up that I should be working on Christmas presents.  I know.  There’s still time.  I hope.

For reading, I’m on Hinds’ Feet on High Places which I remember my mom telling me once that it is one of her favorite books.  So when I saw an old copy at a used book store for 1.99, I thought I’d pick it up.  It is heavily underlined by the person who owned it before me, and I haven’t quite decided if I like that or not.  I love to underline a lot as well, but I can’t help doing an unconscious analysis of the person who read this book before me.

Also, please note that my giveaway for Green Gable Knits is still going on, so click here for details about that.  You have through Friday to get that done.

Linking up with Ginny today.  I love all this talk of knitting and reading each week.  What a great mid-week thought.

I do love that book! I wish I could help you finish all your Christmas presents, but alas, those crafty skills passed from your great-grandma Langager straight down to you and skipped a couple generations.:) You would have loved her and I know will enjoy meeting her in heaven!

Of course you have plenty of time before Christmas. You know it isn’t a handmade gift unless it is damp and the ends aren’t weaved in 🙂

I like the colors on your project. Any nice reds are more welcome at holiday time especially.

Love your yarn! I loved that book when I read it a couple months ago, it really encouraged me when I was suffering from some depression and anxiety!

I really like your knitting. Not something I’ve been brave enough to dip my needles into a pattern like this. Lovely. And I’ve never read the book, but it’s interesting as I bought a book already underlined and found it very distracting. I prefer to draw on my own! Enjoy
