I know I’m kinda corny. I get excited about things that few people get.
Last year I had an idea around the 17th of May that I should make some diapers with rosemaling on them. I don’t have an embroidery machine, and embroidering waterproof PUL can be a tricky operation. Last year I ordered some PUL especially for the purpose of the project, and this winter I had one of my diva friends who specializes in embroidering PUL to embroider some rosemaling on them. Today, the cuts I sent her came back. Now they just need to be sewn up.
I’ve especially set aside crafting time this month to sew these up. They will not be made available in the boutique until after the expo at the Women’s Retreat at Inspiration Point camp, where the woman there will get first dibs.
I know that they’re just going to get peed on. That’s not the point. They’re fun, and beautiful. Hey, I’d change a diaper without complaint if it had this on the back…wouldn’t you?
