All the bath times, and sitting and chatting with Silje on her birthday, and stolen minutes here and there are beginning to add up, and this sweater is nearing the end. I’m not optimistic about it getting done by next week, as it has been so tough to steal away moments, but I think it’s close. I also finished the yoke chart for another design, one that I’ve been working on for over a month. I’ve been hashing through it, and fixing errors here and there, and I think I have it. I had an epiphany that hit me during a rare afternoon when Knut was at home and I finally corrected the problems that had been floating around in the back of my brain. Now I just need to complete the sleeve chart, which shouldn’t be nearly as hard…I hope. No really, it shouldn’t.
For reading, we’re still going through Narnia with Silje and David. We’ve had a few late nights where we haven’t been able to read, so it’s slowed down to 3 chapters a week or so. If you ask David, especially, he’ll tell you how mad he is about how little it has been. I know that shouldn’t make me happy, but it does. I like that he misses Narnia.
Linking up with Ginny’s Yarn Along.

June 25, 2014 at 4:54 pmWe’re working on Narnia too. We’re reading in written order, rather than chronological order. (I understand it’s a big debate which order to read them in!) We’re on “Dawn Treader” right now.

June 25, 2014 at 6:27 pmI’m reading the “Dawn Treader” right now, too. I was talking to Jack about Eustice and how he had to let Aslan peel off his dragon skin, since, hard has he tried, he couldn’t do it by himself. Reading it as an adult has a whole different meaning and it’s very inspirational.
So anxious to see the finished product on the current knitting project!
