This bunny still needs her whiskers trimmed and starched, and all the pattern markings wet down and removed. She also needs her dress and boots sewn. I expect those to go pretty fast, though.
These bunnies will have a bunch of knits to keep them warm too. They each have a little capulet, that came with their kit. Then they each have a little overdress that just needs some finishing work done. My hope was to get a little cardigan done for each bunny as well, but I have only half of one completed. I’m leaving that for last in case this gets down to the wire.
I’m embroidering my girls’ initials on the back of each bunny, in a thread that coordinates with their bunny’s clothing color theme so they can keep things straight, but I’m pretty sure all the clothes will be played with together and traded anyway.
There hasn’t been much reading this week of which to speak. We’re in non-stop craft mode in the house right now!

December 18, 2013 at 9:13 pmOh, goodness, what sweet little bunnies! Do you find it difficult to work on little items such as these? I’ve been working on some mama cats and kittens for my girlies, and I have to say that I don’t really care for working on things so tiny. The results are rewarding, though. I’m sure you girls will love their thoughtful, mama-made gifts. Nice job!

December 19, 2013 at 4:14 pmThe bunny kits from Alicia went on my Christmas list because I really want to make some but haven’t had the money to buy them and knew there was no way I would get them done for Christmas if I bought them for gifts. I just that bunny so much, ARG, yours are turning out so adorable!!
