I haven’t gotten too far with my reading. It won’t take long to finish this reader
David has been needing some more one on one time lately so I started reading aloud to him Stuart Little
Since we spent some more time at the lake, I got a chance to get a lot done on the “Dirk” sweater. I tried it on Elias to make sure the head and arm holes are big enough. I love top down knitting! It’s supposed to be a very masculine looking boy sweater. I’m sure Elias will like it when it is done. For now he hated that the circular needle was still in and it was very much unfinished. I’m planning on making up the pattern in several boy sizes, so David will probably end up with one too. This is just the prototype.
Don’t worry, buddy. It will look and feel much better when it is done.
He’ll like it…eventually.

I’m also reading a lot in preparation for the homeschooling year, in addition to doing reading of my own. I always enjoy the back-to-school preparations — I hope you have a wonderful school year!
