Summer is full of fun and general silliness
Here is Silje’s birthday party running out to meet the chickens.
Silje would be the one with the ruffle dress and knee high mud boots.
Here is Silje with her long awaited American Girl Doll “Felicity” that both sets of grandparents and Mommy and Daddy pitched in to get for her. She was over the moon.
Here is the daughter of Knut’s cousin/farm partner/friend when we were together out at the lake.
She’s 9 months old…3 months older than Solveig.
Although Solveig doesn’t have quite so much hair! Here is Solveig in her very own “bapron.” Knut and I love this bib so much I think we may need 5 more. It doesn’t shift around like her regular bibs do. It stays put and fits so well. Someday when I get back in the sewing room…
Here is Solveig who fell asleep at supper in Daddy’s arms. He was completely smitten because he said she has so rarely fallen asleep in his arms. She didn’t even do it much when she was a newborn because I had her more often and he took care of the older kids more often. Her eye is still draining, though less often. I’m hoping her clogged tear duct will eventually clear up without medical help.
Here’s Elias running. The camera caught him.

July 2, 2011 at 11:25 pmI LOVE your bapron! I’m anxious to try it, but I have no bias tape, and no ambition to make my own. Next time I make it to the cities, though, watch out! 🙂 I was wondering if Silje liked her doll or not.
