While other schools declare snow days, and 2 hour delays, our school reserves the delays for tropical days. Days when it’s so near to 30 degrees.
Who needs a beach in Mexico, when we have our own snow “beach” in the yard?
School can wait until this afternoon. Just this once…
How can you pass up a snow castle making day?
Or even…
a chance to bring out a bike.
Although it’s necessary to keep an eye on those snow banks.
Who knew beach toys were so much fun in the snow?

makes me miss my prairie farm childhood.
