I can’t believe she’s already big enough to play with toys.

 It’s probably a good thing that Elias is still behind in conversations.  I think he knew that when he fully picks up English, he will lose his fluency in 
“baby language,”
 
and he loves to tell his sister jokes in the language she can understand.
