A bit about my boys.

family

In an effort to overlook my grumpy post, I thought I’d post some fun things about my boys.

Elias is now crawling pretty well. We need to continually remind ourselves that he can get from point A to point B ! He can also move from the playing on the tummy position to sitting up position by himself (depending on what he is wearing and what floor he is on, that is). He’s attempting to pull himself up several times a day as well.

He reminds me of David in how he plays. Elias studies things so seriously, and David always did that as well. I think of that mostly when I see Elias study the hinges on cupboards. David always did that.

After Silje came home from school, and left the tea party, David came up and asked if he could have some Oreos. He wanted 4 because he’s almost 4 years old. I asked that since I’m 28 if I could have 28 Oreos. He said that was a good idea, so I let him have his 4. (We won’t talk about how many I had.)

He then methodically ate the fluff inside each cookie, and then announced to me that he had 8 cookies now! I said that wasn’t right since he wasn’t almost 8 years old, so I should take 4 back. He looked worried, and I said, “Don’t worry, Bud, I was just joking”

Then he said very straight faced, “Mommy, we don’t joke about cookies. Cookies are serious business.”

Yes, yes he is my son.
