I’m Blessed

Blessings

Numbers from our yearly trek to Phoenix so far:
35: the number of hours we just drove to my parents’ house.
5: the number of kids we packed in the car.
2: the number of kids who threw up from car sickness.
3: the number of times we cleaned up throw up.
1,000: number of hugs my kids have got yesterday.
2: number of Starbucks drinks picked up yesterday morning.
4: number of people who accomplished getting a nap yesterday afternoon.
3: number of cousins my kids played with yesterday.
1: number of Star Wars themed birthday parties planned for this week.
32: the age I will turn this week.  (For the record, the Star Wars’ party is my nephew’s, and I can’t really compete with that.)

This week we have been blessed with safe travels, and family who require us to leave the winter behind and enjoy 80 degree temperatures every year.  I’m blessed to finally celebrate my nephew’s birthday, to be with my family for my birthday, and spend some time with some pretty special people.

I’m blessed.
