I was wondering if I was going to post today, but some new news that I have permission to share came to me last night. I have been sitting in shock ever since.
Many of you might remember this post about all the babies coming this spring. About how my sister Heidi is pregnant, and my sister-in-law, Kristin is pregnant with twins?
Well, I just found out that Heidi is going to have twins as well. That’s why I’m sitting down. Twins run in Kristin’s family. I almost expected twins from them for some reason. Just something in my gut. Twins do not run in my family though, and I (probably like my sister) feels blindsided by this news! I thought it was a joke at first.
Kristin is due in March but will most likely have her twins in February. Heidi is due in April but will most likely have her twins in March, right around their other child’s birthday. When Heidi and Tony told their son, Jackson that Mommy had two babies in her tummy, he responded with “Wow! Thank you God!”
Thank you God, indeed! What a blessing. I still need the wrap my mind around Knut and I getting 4 nieces/nephews within 6 weeks or so of each other. What are the chances, really? My sister who is a major planner and super organized has her head spinning with all the changes and trying to reconfigure some plans. I’m so excited for all my pregnant-with-twins-sisters!
Knut joked that we should call up his sister, Rondi (the only married sibling of ours who is not pregnant) and ask when her twins are coming. Because that’s what’s going on. Everyone is having twins. THIS IS CRAZY!

September 12, 2009 at 3:57 pmBy the way, I found out from Grandpa that twins ARE in our family tree. Your great-grandma Langager had two twin brothers; Helmert and Johannes. So there you have it!
Love,
Mom

September 14, 2009 at 8:35 pmI can see how shocked you are! My sister in law had triplets last December…they thought they were twins until delivery (and yes, she had ultrasounds). It took me awhile to get over that one! And even now it sometimes hits me: Triplets!
Have fun with all the sweet babies in your family!!
