Back in the Cold

family

We’re back in the cold again, and what better way to celebrate being home than to take the kids out in sub-zero weather, to go cross country skiing!

David was the champ of the day. I didn’t know a 3 year old was capable of skiing so well! When Silje gave up a few times, but not this guy. When Knut and I were working with Silje to get her going again, he just kept going on…down hills, through the woods…wherever the track took him! I love this picture!

Here’s Knut getting Silje up the hill. She did very well, but was a little prone to giving up in the beginning. Once we got in the woods and out of the wind she was much happier.

Elias came with too, pulled behind Knut in the little baby sled attached to a harness that Knut wore. The Spidahl Ski Gard seems to be equiped for everything! Doesn’t he look cozy in there! He got so warm that he slept the whole time.

It’s fun to be back!

These are great pics! It’s neat to see how the kids can adapt so easily from cold to hot to cold. 🙂

    Love,
    Mom
