Lovin’ the Snow!

family

Today was pretty busy for us Ronneviks. Silje, David and I (Gretchen) went to MOPS at Bethel where I got to make cinnamon stick ornaments, and the kids got to play with all of their little friends. Knut worked on his Dad’s house some more today, as they are working on putting up interior walls so that electricity and plumbing can soon be set up. With -7 degree temperatures, they are eager to get the electricity in so that the house can be heated.
We have enjoyed the first big snow storm of the season. We have learned that ironically, Silje, who is always cold, likes to play in the snow. David, however, is always warm, but he has not enjoyed playing outside, because he says he’s cold. Knut has been able to take them on their sled over to Oldefar and Great-grandma’s house 2 doors down, and a little sledding down a little hill, I think.
I have felt a little behind with making Christmas cookies this year, so I need to get on that, and get the kids involved some more. I also don’t have my Christmas card finished yet, and normally I send it out right after Thanksgiving, so I’m a little behind there too. I suppose you could say that I’m a little distracted, because we’re going to Phoenix for Christmas so soon!
